Another big sports weekend is upon us! Wisconsin is playing Nebraska on Saturday night and you know I'm here for it. Finding cute game day apparel (as an alumni) is kind of a struggle... Madison had all of these cute shops to find tops and sweatshirts for games, but once you move away from that college town, it's hard to find anything. American Eagle just started this 'Tailgate' line of clothes and it is so stinking cute. I want ALL of the Wisconsin stuff! They even have a mens' shirt that has ... View the Post
10 Ways to Overcome Self-Doubt
Shop This Outfit Self-Doubt is something that affects so many people, and in the social media age, it’s more prevalent than ever. Over the weekend, the Minneapolis Bloggers Union met and had a very open and stimulating conversation on the topic of self-doubt. I had the privilege of moderating this discussion with Adrianna of Sincerely Ami and Vanessa of Nessa Bess. I learned a lot from the two panelists as well as from the other bloggers in the room. I want to share the tips from ... View the Post
A Day at the Apple Orchard + My Favorite Apple Recipe
Fall is absolutely our favorite season and we look forward to it all year. We love the weather, the food, the football, but mostly, we love our Fall traditions. Apple picking has been a tradition of ours since 2014 (see previous posts from 2015, 2016, and 2017!) Every year we go to an orchard to pick apples and then spend the next few weeks drinking apple cider, baking an apple recipe (or two!), and cuddling up by the fire. On Saturday we went out to Deardorff Orchards in Waconia for our annual ... View the Post
Minneapolis Monthly: St. Genevieve
St. Genevieve, located at 50th and Bryant, is led by chef/owner Steve Brown (who is also the chef behind Tilia). It’s a Parisian-style restaurant, or buvette (if you’re feeling French). They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner and have a really good happy hour too. My favorites on the menu are the mussels and the frites. Blanched in water and fried twice, these frites are the best fries ever! They are very well known for their tartines (open-face sandwiches), like the tartine madame pictured. Most ... View the Post
Save or Splurge: Karen Walker Sunglasses
I found the dupes for these Karen Walker sunglasses on Amazon and I am loving them! They have the same cat eye and retro feel as the designer sunglasses but these are only $11! I can't believe how inexpensive these are for looking so spendy. The Karen Walker sunglasses are on Shopbop for $220, which isn't too horrible of a price for sunglasses (especially since you wear them every day) and I have also heard many amazing things about Karen Walker. That being said, these $11 ones are just too ... View the Post
Everything You Need to Know About Ice Rollers
I got this $12 ice roller on Amazon and I love it so much that I incorporated it into my routine! I don’t do it daily, but I do it a lot. I have naturally very hooded and puffy eyes. If I eat a lot of salt, drink a lot, sleep in makeup, etc. etc. my eyes get 100 times worse. I have been experimenting with some different treatments for eye puffiness and this ice roller really does the trick! I was ice rolling my face on Instagram stories a few Sundays ago (thank you wedding hangover) and I got ... View the Post
