We just had wallpaper installed in our powder bath (see the full makeover here) and I learned SO MUCH. I went into that project with zero knowledge about wallpaper, and look at me now! I love the result of our wallpaper and I highly recommend that you choose wallpaper in your home too! Here are six things you should know about wallpaper. 1 - Hire a Professional To Install and Shop around Get estimates from a few different people to make sure you’re getting a good price. Powder Bath Makeover
Our powder bath makeover is finally complete! The powder bath started extremely YELLOW (see below for a before photo) and I have been wanting to change it since we moved in. The major elements of the powder bath are the floral wallpaper and all of the brass! It turned out absolutely beautiful and I am so happy with the result. I included all of the powder bath links and some helpful information as well! Before (So Much Yellow!) I forgot to take a photo before I took the mirror down, but ... View the Post
Liss Travels: Port Aransas, Texas
We spent a week in Port Aransas, Texas and we had the best time! When we saw that Minnesota was going to have subzero temps for over a week, we hopped in the car and headed South! We knew we wanted to drive (wanted to bring our dog, and of course the pandemic), and decided on Port Aransas for a few reasons. It's about a 20 hour drive from Minnesota (closer than a lot of beach destinations), we haven't spent much time in Texas, and we have family in a few spots along the way. It felt like a no ... Rug Links | All of the Rugs In Our Home
We have A LOT of rugs in our home, and our rugs are something I get asked about quite frequently, so I thought I would post all of the rug links right here! I love a rug, and for me, if a room doesn't have a rug in it, it looks like the furniture is just kind of floating in the room. Does that makes sense? Even though I am fully aware we have a lot of rugs, I still couldn't believe we have NINE rugs! Before getting to the actual rugs, I thought I would share some tips that may be ... View the Post
Liss Travels: 14 Tips for Traveling with a Toddler
Traveling with a toddler is no joke! Traveling with a newborn of course has its own challenges (see post here!) but I’ve found traveling with a toddler to be even more difficult. With an infant, the worries were feedings, germs, and having enough supplies, whereas with a toddler, it’s more about tantrums, sleep, and keeping them busy! We haven’t traveled a lot with a toddler (in a pandemic right now of course!) but we’ve flown a few times and just took a 20 hour road trip! Here are some of the ... View the Post
18 Months of Rosie
Rosie at 18 months is so much fun! Tony and I keep talking about how funny she is. We could both watch her all day long. Rosie imitates everything we say (even the words she shouldn't!) and also comes up with her own super funny things too. I love the way she covers her own eyes to do "peekaboo." She cracks me up when she shouts "Oh no!" in response to something. I never want to forget how she turns her back to me to tell me she wants to sit on my lap, or how she lays on my chest to watch ...
