this weekend we had nothing on the calendar (!!) and the weather was above freezing (!!) so we got out of the house and enjoyed our neighborhood a bit. we also wanted to get ella out so she could get some exercise. that girl has put on some serious lbs this winter. it’s mostly our fault as it’s been so cold and we don’t want to walk outside (LOL). but as it was so nice this weekend, we took her on a walk over to northeast minneapolis and then back downtown on the stone arch bridge. she is kind of out of shape so let me tell you she was tired! we had coffee at spyhouse, and they have the cutest cappuccinos. i love places that put so much effort into every cup. i hit the library and got some new reads (getting educated in nora ephron right now) and got my new favorite smoothie (whole foods green smoothie no bananas sub strawberry). also, spring has totally sprung at whole foods. tulips and succulents galore! fun and relaxing weekend, now on to february!
