i got so so many compliments on the necklace i was wearing, and i proudly told each person, “thanks it’s my mom’s!” special shoutout to my mom kate! but back to the wedding… brad and manda are just the cutest couple and are so in love. they incorporated a lot of personal details into their wedding, and i felt like i got to know them a lot more through those details. one cute thing was that brad loves the beach boys, and to honor that, manda made roses out of sheet music of beach boys songs. it was the sweetest thing. my other favorite part was probably the hot chocolate/bundt cake station and also hot chocolate favors we got to take home!
the morning after we needed a little pick-me-up and headed over to uncle franky’s in northeast minneapolis. uncle franky’s is known to have the best hot dog in minneapolis. after having spent a considerable amount of time in chicago in our lives, we are pretty tough hot dog critics. tony got the chicago dog and i got the carolina slaw dog (both were excellent!) it’s pretty close to our place AND has a patio so we will definitely be returning (probably in the summer with ella in tow!)
i think uncle franky’s just found their number 1 fan!
