I just did my early access shopping in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I had a budget in mind and really stuck to it! If you read my last post, you know I was on the hunt for nursing-friendly and comfortable items because I will be on maternity leave for most of this Fall.
What I Bought During Early Access
- I ordered this tee in both the white and the mustard. Last year I got two colors of this tee (last year’s version was only slightly different) and loved it so I got two more. It just lays really nicely and is a great layering piece.
- I got this Topshop sweater in two colors. I thought it would be good for being cozy with baby this Fall. It will look good with leggings and other comfy items too.
- This leopard cardigan was just too cute to pass up! There is A LOT of animal print in the sale this year (also a lot of pink?!)
- As far as accessories, I grabbed these flats in the snakeskin and this cross body bag. I chickened out on getting boots (even though I really want these!) because I’m afraid I won’t wear jeans much this Fall? I wanted this hat SO BADLY (like #1 on the wishlist and it was sold out when I got on!)
Most of the items were available for pickup at Nordstrom so today I will go and try everything on and make sure I like it. There were a few items that were delivery only. I hope they arrive soon!
Items I Already Own
There are quite a few things in the Nordstrom sale that I already own. I either bought these items in the sale last year or at full price some other time.
1 – I bought this tee in 2 colors last year and bought it in two more this year. This year’s version is slightly different but I am hoping it has the same great fit.
2 – I love this cami (I have it in black) and layer it often. They have numerous colors available this year.
3 – This jacket was in the sale last year and I bought the ‘cognac’ color. It is taking everything I have to not buy it in the grey. Size up if you have larger arms!
4 – These Zella leggings are everything. I think they are better than Lulu Lemon and way cheaper (especially during the sale!)
5 – I have the 10 inch high waist jeans from Madewell and they are one of my favorite pairs. Haven’t worn them since pregnancy, but looking forward to their return!
6 – The Spanx faux leather leggings are amazing! I have discussed them at length (even did a full review here) and the price for the sale is SO MUCH cheaper than what I paid!
