Are there really that many of you dressing in cocktail attire this Valentine’s Day? If you’re like me, your Valentine’s Day plans are usually low-key! Sometimes we cook at home, other times we do something casual. Not to mention that the day before Valentine’s Day is my birthday, so I’ve never been that into the holiday (it just puts a shadow on my birthday month (ha!)
Also can we talk about how in Minnesota our Valentine’s Days are usually in below zero temps, and we need to wear actual pants and definitely a coat?
I stopped in Old Navy recently to try-on some fun V-day looks. I ended up going home with this pink coat! I don’t think they have it in the pink online anymore (shoot!) but it’s still available in stores. I also really love this blush pink coat that’s a little dressier. I paired these two pink coats with a few different sweaters (here, here, and here) and these amazing jeggings! I love this elastic waistband!
What are you all doing for Valentine’s Day?
I didn’t take these amazing jeggings off or my Sorel boots for this entire try-on (because it was just so much easier!) I’ve been wearing these boots almost every day (after I got them for Christmas!) They are waterproof, warm, and have a big wedge, but the best part? No sliding around on the ice! If you are in between sizes, I would go up one half size, but I got my true size (8.5). They do stretch out a lot!
