i did my first ‘save or splurge’ post a few weeks ago. i really like doing these posts so i hope you do too! when i find an item that is just like the more expensive/designer one, i get so excited and want to share! i loved this j.crew top but it’s $40. and it’s really just a t-shirt. a cute t-shirt yes. but just a t-shirt. i was browsing one of my favorite cheap-o sites (shein) and saw this identical one for $11. obsessed.

i am wearing it here tied up in a knot with these jeans. however, i have also wore it to work with no knot (obviously). can you imagine a little tummy-time at work? anyway, i wore it to work with more formal pants. i try to shop for tops that do both work and casual. day-to-night anyone? this girl at work stopped me and said, “i almost bought that exact top at j.crew!” and i didn’t correct her. what fashion girl tells her secrets?
