The Cotton Anniversary
June 13th was our second wedding anniversary (you might remember this post from last week!) The traditional second anniversary gift is cotton. I googled why exactly cotton was chosen as the second anniversary gift. After searching a few sites, I learned that cotton is both strong and soft. Cotton symbolizes the need for a marriage to stay strong and the need for a couple to be able to adapt to change.
When I was brainstorming cotton gift ideas for Tony, I Immediately went to clothes. Tony loves suits, and wears one every day for work. I looked around for awhile and decided to buy him this chambray blazer and this gingham blazer. They were both a hit! If your man isn’t necessarily a suit guy, I put together a list of other cotton anniversary gift ideas for him.
