peony season && my first rocksbox

hello! i bought these gorgeous peonies at the farmer’s market this weekend. i am so bummed that peony season is coming to an end. the best three weeks of the year in my opinion! but i am super excited to share that i got invited by rocksbox to try out their jewelry subscription service. i love the idea of renting jewelry, so i couldn’t wait to try this out. 

what is rocksbox?

rocksbox is a jewelry membership service. they basically let you rent unlimited jewelry for $21 a month.

how does it work?

1. sign up for rocksbox here.
2. create a profile and a wishlist. this lets your stylist know what you like.
3. a rocksbox stylist selects three items for your box and ships it to (shipping is free!)
4. when you are ready for a new box, send your three pieces back. easy as that! rocksbox provides a pre-paid label for returns (amazing) and the original packaging is reusable. again, super easy!
5. if you are obsessed with your items (i get it) you may want to purchase them. guess what? you can! your $21 is applied to the items you want to purchase.

there is no sign-up or cancellation fee and you can cancel whenever you want. 

why do i love rocksbox?

a lot of reasons. let’s be honest. but i think the best part is trendy jewelry for an affordable price. trendy jewelry doesn’t stay trendy long. ya know? so its nice to just rent it. i hate when you buy something super trendy for like $70 and then it goes out of style. with rocksbox, you just send the item back when you want something trendier! why didn’t i try this sooner?

i got two pairs of earrings and a necklace. all three items were on the wishlist i created for my stylist. i am wearing these earrings and this necklace in the photos within this post. i also linked all of the items below.
