happy friyay! i can’t believe today is the last day of june. where did the time go? today we are leaving for savannah and charleston. i am so so excited to check out these two cities. all i have planned is where we are going to eat. i can’t wait for fried chicken. and oysters. and barbeque. and… the list goes on.
i am starting a new monthly series today called ‘what i bought.’ i thought it would be fun for you to know what i actually purchase in a month. it seems like bloggers are constantly buying clothes. am i right? while that is partially true (let’s be honest), a lot of items are gifted. for that reason, i think it’s helpful to see what i actually bought (and actually spent!) in a given month.
what i bought: june
you probably remember this colorblock dress from this post and also this one-shoulder top from this post. both have been staples in my wardrobe all month long. my favorite purchase in june? the denim shorts. i have been looking for months for the perfect pair. for some reason, all denim shorts are CRAZY short. short shorts are great for the beach, of course. but at a family party or work event… ain’t nobody want to see that! after trying on many many pairs, i landed on these h&m ones.
a lot of the shopping i did is june is for our trip this weekend. i bought this lavender lace dress during the nordstrom sale. i think it is a really sweet date night look for either charleston or savannah. i also bought a few fun accessories that i think are perfect for vacation. i love this pale pink neck scarf (obsessed with the neck scarf trend!) and this straw bag from amazon. this bag screams southern to me for some reason! i also picked up this romper for the 4th of july festivities in charleston. you probably remember it from this post!
